CCAHE is the Clark College affiliate of WEA, the Washington Education Association. WEA is the state's largest public employee union and the dominant professional union for Washington's educators. WEA supports faculty, strengthens the teaching profession, shapes education policy, and provides educators a unified voice.

AHE FOCUS 2009-2010
  • Increased involvement in trustees meetings and work sessions
  • Publish regular bargaining updates to members during bargaining
  • Maintain website with updated information for members
  • Continued meetings with college president and VPI with a variety of members
  • Conduct a one-day retreat for AHE senators each year during fall orientation
  • Establish an organizing team with 20-40 members
  • Quarterly training meetings
  • Publish a minimum of 11 newsletters per year for members
